how does this shampoo do for your hair, i used it last night and my hair didnt straighten too well, do you know why? this is my frist time using itSunsilk shampoo?

I havent tried the ';straighten up'; one, but I love the defrizz (green bottle). The shanmpoo and conditioner is great, but the conditioning cream is what makes a huge difference. I like it.
Of course, if you are trying to get your hair straight, I'm sorry to tell you no shampoo or anything in a bottle will really do that for you. You gotta use a blowdrier or flat iron (or both) for that.
It takes about a week of daily use to get results. I hope your also using the conditioner so your hair is easier to comb and moisturised.
Sunsilk doesn't work for me either. It left a lot of buildup in my hair which made it dull and itched my scalp.
Your body chemistry is different than anyone else's and certain product will react differently on you than other people. Sunsilk may work wonders for your best friend and do nothing for you. It's a matter of trial and error before you find the right product.
If your hair is naturally curly or kinky, you can't depend on a shampoo alone to straighten your hair. You would have to follow with a straightening serum and a straightening heat element. It could be a blow dryer with a flat paddle brush or a straight iron.
Note that doing this often will damage your hair overtime. If you want your hair to be super straight, go to the salon and get a straight perm.
it isn't a high quality shampoo it probably is weighing your hair down go to a salon and get the chi products they are more expensive but they work GOOD

I tried the Sunsilk for blonde hair and it made me hair horrible! It got greasy and became really limp. I went straight back to my old shampoo and my hair was fine.
