Sunsilk anti poof shampoo?

I just bought it and used it. It seems to have helped my poof, but not the frizz. I was wondering should i use the anti poof shampoo instead. Or should I use a mix of both? Like keep the shampoo, but use the anti frizz cream ?Would this help?Sunsilk anti poof shampoo?
I have wavy hair and bought that stuff (the shampoo, conditioner and anti-frizz cream) and was sooo hopeful that i'd be able to use the products and let my hair air dry and look good. It didn't even work when i blow dried or ironed!! I was so disappointed. Then I bought garnier fructis, the restoring one and OMG!!! It's like miracle stuff!! I could just wash, condition and go and my hair looked great!! (I say this in the past tense cause I just chopped about 8'; off and now have to iron it everyday cause it's too short to pull up) THAT STUFF IS GREAT!!Sunsilk anti poof shampoo?
use the anti poof shampoo AND conditioner. Then use the anti frizz creme. Conditioners help with frizz.

i've been using Pantine Pro-V Ice Shine for about a 3 months now, and my hair cant even go a day without shampooing because it looks and feels soooo greasy

Any shampoo (despite price or brand) will start leaving build up in your hair after 3+ months of use. You should always switch shampoos after 3 months because your hair is so used to the formula. I use Sunsilk TLC (shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme). After 3 months I switch to Garnier Fructis.

Well if your going away for nine days I would consider you just to go out and by a bottle of sunsilk conditioner and a bottle of the shampoo because those sachets won't last you long over nine days. Unless you want to go without cleaning your hair in the shower for a few days.
Wash your hair when you need to. Use half the product in a sachet if you can, or take more shampoo with you. I couldn't last 9 days on 2 shampoos without looking pretty gross.
When u feel that ur hair needs wash,use 1 sachet,that is enough and sme time use conditioner and use second 1 b4 returning to ur home in same fashion.

Um It can be because of your diet too. Start taking multivitamins and be gentle. I personally love sunsilk, it is my favorite brand. I cannot imagine it being the conditioner. I dont know I thinik you may want to see a doctor or either go to your local drugstore and talk to the pharmacist they are educated. If you talk to a hair stylest they will tell you you need to change your shampoo and conditioner every few months otherwise it will clog your hair folicles. Check on that too that may be causing stress on your hair.
I like garnier but it is what works best for you Since your hair drys out when you shampoo it means it is getting to clean and you might try washing every other day and see if that helps also You also could do the conditioner first and then the shampoo this way the shampoo has to pull through the conditioner

I don't know how long or thick your hair is, but have you considered getting it shortened %26amp; thinned out just a bit? That would be a start since your have ';poofy hair'; syndrome. You use Sunsilk hair products, probably because you like them, %26amp; that's okay. You can use a blow dryer on your hair but only if you buy a diffuser to slip over the the end of it. You can buy one at a hair supply store, such as Sally's. The diffuser will blow dry your hair but it will not leave your hair ';poofy'; because it doesn't blow the hair all around.My hair poofs as it dries. You could also use the Sunsilk Hairapy de Frizz shamoo and conditioner--I have very curly hair that dries very poofy but when I use this it doesn't. You should also use the Sunsilk Hairapy 24/7 de Frizz Creme with it. They are in the green bottles.

I would suggest that you use a clarifying shampoo to relieve any excess oil. Discount store shampoos have too much oil and wax which makes more damage and hassle, especially when you already have excess oil.

no, it won't. All it does is highlight the blone. It has little ';pearly ';bits in it that must do something. You can get a purple shampoo that is supposed to take the gold look out of blonde, but not sure how it will affect the blackSunsilk blonde shampoo?
maybe since it has lighteners to keep blonde hair in its original state, it would lighten up your black. you could, its just a thought. but generally separate the black from blonde and treat the blonde with blonde shampoo and then put all your hair together and shampoo with your regualr shampoo. it may work.

my hair is EXACTLY like yours and i always put it up for the same reasons you do. i use the orange sunsilk because my hair is between wavy and curly. and since your hair is dry, like mine as well, some days i dont shampoo, i just condition with herbal essences conditioner for dry hair and rinse. washing your hair everyday will make it even more dry. also, use a hair mask for dry hair. i like garnier fructis and pantene and dove have good ones too. maybe you should cut your hair into layers, itll help with the poofing, or at least make the poofing look like volume, so itll look good. good luck :]Which sunsilk or anykind of shampoo %26amp; conditioner is right for me?

Professional shampoos can be quite expensive. My advice to you, is check out Sally Beauty Supply (or another beauty supply store in your area). They often have professional products that are the same price (give or take a few dollars) as the stuff you would buy in the drug store!

Actually, I use a brand of straightening shampoo and conditioner called Thermasilk, and it comes in purple bottles too. It works! Just wash your hair with both, comb with a wide-toothed comb, and blow-dry straight.

yep, it works for me cause i have straight hair. you need to use the conditioner and 24/7 creme too. you could buy a little pack to try it. i bought it at Krogers. i found it in the soap section instead of the shampoo part so that's kind of odd. if u cant find it try the soap section.Others Opinion-Is Sunsilk Straighten Up shampoo and conditioner really striaghtens your hair? and how well?

Nope, they barely do a thing unless your hair is already straight but just has a slight bit of a wave to it. It only slightly relaxes it very temporarily.

I tried Sunsilk when it first came out... I got the pink bottle for extra moisture. I wasn't that impressed with it. The conditioner didn't make much of a difference on my hair, and it was still hard to comb through when wet. I much prefer Redken All Soft. If you do want to try Sunsilk though, go to their website and they have tips and suggestions on which kind would be best for you. It's actually a pretty entertaining site at www.gethairapy.com
I used it and was really happy with the results, but you need to change the kind of product you use about every 3 to 6 months. Your hair just adapts and overcomes your efforts.
I tried it and hated it! BUt my hair seems to be snobby and only likes expensive things from the salon!! It just really dried my hair out and it was supposed to be for dry hair! However, their straightening balm works great!

I used the Sunsilk Hydra Therapy line (shampoo, masque, and leave in) in the pink bottles. The shampoo was nice, but the masque and leave in left my hair sticky and oily. It felt like there was some sort of film all over my hair. It also smelled HORRIBLE! I had to wash my hair again that night before I could sleep the smell was so bad.

It make my hair supersoft %26amp; smells good %26amp; also doesn't weigh it down. But I am going to switch back to dove when I'm done with sunsilk.

Which is better Dove shampoo or Sunsilk shampoo?

I have blonde hair but i am thinking of going darker soon. My hair is somewhat soft in some areas but fried and unhealthy looking in other areas. I don't want a shampoo that will make my hair look greasy cause i tend to touch my bangs a lot (i know your not suppose to touch your hair a lot!). I also have a little frizz but not a lot.

Okay well i suffered the same problem, What would be a wise choice is get both. You can get one as shampoo and the other as conditioner. Good luck! I understand that a girls hair is her life.
Actually I had this same problem. I have used both shampoos and I find that the starighten up one is best. If you use both the shampoo and condition of straighten up, and then blow dry and straighten your hair, it turns out alot better than stariaghtening your hair without using the shampoo. But after you blow dry your hair after using the shampoo, it will look poofy, but after you starighten your hair, you will be amazed at how much better it looks. I have tried it and it works great.
I would pick the poofy one, because poofyness is what also usually creates frizzyness. And without the poof your hair will seem straiter too. Along with that you should also use a hair straitner, it clams the frizzes down and makes your hair smoother and more lucious!
