a couple of weeks ago...i saw a commercial, of this new shampoo they launched called sunsilk, has any one tried and does it work?Hag any one tried sunsilk(shampoo)?
I haven't tired the shampoo but I am trying the Not Flat volume by Sunsilk,it gives volume without the crunchy texture ,Ive only tried it 2 times so far and I like it.it smells good and my hair feels great and has more body,I have long blond hair that's fine and I like this product .I will try other products they sell.Hag any one tried sunsilk(shampoo)?

There are several Sunsilk variants- I tried the Hydra TLC, and I have to say that although it worked OK on my hair, the conditioner reeked!!! I tried the new VivePro Stlye Infusing instead and loved it- my whole bathroom smelled great after the shower!!

yes, I have and still am using the pink one for my dry hair. I have noticed an improvement. But, I'm not one for sticking to a certain shampoo/conditioner for a very long time.

Sunsilk Shampoo...? Does anybody else get this happen to them from the Shampoo...?
I started using Sunsilk De-Frizz Shampoo with the Straighten-up Conditioner about 5 months ago. In the beginning I was amazed at how soft and lightwieght the shampoo and conditioner was making my hair. Then about a month ago I noticed the inside of my hair from the back of my head was staying greasy-like even after shampooing and drying it. My hair would'nt straighten at all near the scalp area. It would stay greasy looking. I know its from the Sunsilk De-Frizz Shampoo because it has some type of silicon in it. I tried using Herbal Essences for long hair and the same thing happened. Now I bought Pantene and it seems to have gotten rid of that greasy residue. The problem now is that I have like ten bottles of shampoo in my shower. Did anybody else have that experience with Sunsilk too. I wish that it never happened because I really liked how soft it made my hair. Sunsilk Shampoo...? Does anybody else get this happen to them from the Shampoo...?
If you really like it, you could probably still use the Sunsilk, but NOT every time you wash your hair. Almost any shampoo will leave a residue, so you should occasionally, use a different brand of shampoo to remove it (I do this once every week or two). Sounds like the Panteen would work for you.

If you think that your head is getting greasy, you could try Head %26amp; Shoulders. They have a variety of shampoos for different hair problems.

that sounds familiar- a lot of the cheaper brands feel like that. i switched to salon brands, and when i switched back to the stuff from walmart i felt like it didnt wash out.

I'm thinking about trying out this shampoo and conditioner, (my hair is damaged from straightening, dying, and whatever else), so im wondering if any of you have tried it. If so, would you recommend it and did it help to fix the hair problems the bottles promise it will?

I have natural black hair and using this made my hair uber shiny and silky smooth. Use this if you plan on using heat appliances because the silk proteins are heat-activated...will only be shiny if heat is used.ie problems

sunsilk didn't seem to work well
it takes a little time, my hair is frizzy and curly so i mix the blue and purple conditioners (with some garneir fructius sleek n shine conditioner) and use the green serum stuff you out in afterwards.
here are some hints...
use garneirs anti dandruff to remove build up
then apply conditioner using the mixture i said above (mix in your hand) but dont do this every day or else your hair will get greasey.
let the conditioner sit in your hair for about 10-15 minutes (if you dont have a lot of time try liike shaving you legs while letting the conditioner soak in)
then rinse and after the bath/shower put in the green serum in extra frizzy spots or coarse spots (not everywhere or itll get greasy)
let you hair air dry to prevent damage (to do this i shower at night so my hair drys while i sleep)
then style as usual.

The purple one is sheer evil, if you have ever bleached or colored your hair. I used it, and my hair became completely FRIED. I had to go buy some of that expensive Pantine restorative to fix it...
Sunsilk isn't the best, most of their products are very drying, especially the ones that are supposed to change the texture of your hair.

Im was in love with Sunsilk Shampoo and Conditioner until my mom started selling Avon .. Avon has awesome shampoo and conditioner called Avon Advance Techniques for different types of hair .. I always get the Volumizing and it works really well .. Plus Im obsessed with my hair smelling clean, and this stuff leaves ur hair smelling sooooooo nice .. I love it .. If you dont know anyone that sells avon, definitly use Sunsilk or Tresemme .. Another good product to make ur hair silky is Garnier Fructis smoothing balm .. You apply that to ur hair when its damp and blow dry it .. It gets rid of frizz and makes my hair feel like silk ..

I tried sunsilk shampoo and it isn't that great, it does smell good though, if thats what your going for.
I recomend useing Sleek Look by Matrix (the orange bottle). It makes my hair very soft and silky better than any other shampoo i have ever tried....and i have tried a lot...
You can get at most drug stores and salons.....the price may be a bit up there at about $18 a bottle but i definately think its worth it. (=

Im was in love with Sunsilk Shampoo and Conditioner until my mom started selling Avon .. Avon has awesome shampoo and conditioner called Avon Advance Techniques for different types of hair .. I always get the Volumizing and it works really well .. Plus Im obsessed with my hair smelling clean, and this stuff leaves ur hair smelling sooooooo nice .. I love it .. If you dont know anyone that sells avon, definitly use Sunsilk or Tresemme .. Another good product to make ur hair silky is Garnier Fructis smoothing balm .. You apply that to ur hair when its damp and blow dry it .. It gets rid of frizz and makes my hair feel like silk ..

If there are a whole lot of ingredients, and mainly stuff that is 'hard to pronounce' or unknown, then the shampoo is probably not a good choice. Stick to shampoos with natural ingredients, or fewer ingredients.

Grocery store shampoo makes your hair LOOK shiny because it is a bad product that coats your hair with wax! I recommend Biolage hydrating shampoo and fortifying conditioner. People make a big deal because it costs so much, but it actually costs the same. Since it's a better product you don't have to use nearly as much of it!

I have long curly hair, and I find conditioning every day with Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Conditioner keeps my hair from drying out too much. I shampoo about 3 times a week with their Restoratives Anti-Breakage shampoo.
To style my hair I do use gel (if you're going to, use one without alcohol). I also use Herbal Essences Totally Twisted mousse. It's really gentle, doesn't harden hair too much and smells great. I don't know what shampoo would be good for you but sunsilk is horrible. I used the hydration stuff and it only made it worse.
When I scrunch my hair, I use mousse (Herbel Essences for Curly Hair or Got 2 Be Sexy) and then I spray some hair spray in my hand and scrunch it some more and dry it using a diffuser. If you don't have naturally curly hair, scrunch it into a messy bun and dry it. When you let it down, it is soooo curly and full of volume. It looks great!

Will you buy Sunsilk shampoo because Nadine and Cheryl from Girls Aloud...?

Hi no I wont be buyingand sunsilk for one thing I dont think Girls Aloud even touch the sunsilk products, to get hair like theirs we all know its donw professionally. I dont like sunsilk products and even time and time again when sunsilk over the years have advertised I have gone out and bought it, but it never works or does what it cliams to do. So Girls Aloud advertising it will make me even more determined not to buy it as its all just fake, which is obviusly what advertising is.
I dont think celebs need to advertise products for people as yes companies think it actually sells products, but we all know once we have tried it and its not that good of a product we wont buy it. So if you just advertise with a normal person everyday person who needs a job not like celebs who have loads of money and get there make up, hair products done buy hair stylists to advertise there products we probably most likely to buy the product as its advertised buy real people who have actually bought the product.

I am quite pleased that the Dove range of skin creams is actually using REAL women, with real lumps and bumps and wobbly bits, for thier advertisements, as I think that if they're pleased with a product then it must genuinely work. Boycott the celebrity endorsements!

I used it and it works great for my type of hair..but i'm freaked out because people say so many bad things about it? I'm not aware of any negative comments concerning Sunsilk products. I've been using the shampoo, conditioner and anti frizz cream for like, a year, and honestly, my hair's never been in better shape. I can truly say that i believe in their products---and mean it. I don't know what Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is, and I'm sure whatever it is, people put much worse things on and INTO their bodies every day. My hair is highlighted, naturally curly and not dry or oily, so maybe some people have reacted to Sunsilk, but as far as I'm concerned, I have no complaints. Many shampoos and conditioners use chemicals that could potentially damage your hair, but in very very small amounts. Usually to make your hair shiny or soft etc. But like everything, if too much is used it could cause damage. But sunsilk only use a small amount, no where near enough to cause any serious damage. As for the hair type/dying mistakes etc. If you have dyed your hair and something terible has happened (e.g. hair loss), then you should use a sesitive shampoo, like johnsons baby, but if it was a colour mistake or something of that nature, then its fine to use others. Using sunsilk wont kill your hair, bur if you are still in doubt, check out their website, or call their hotline. Which will put your mind at rest. Hope this helps.

Hair is dead, so there's no way that you can ';kill'; it by just using shampoo. It's different when you put bad ingredients on something that is alive..like your skin. Although, you usually can kill your hair by coloring it too much or bleaching it.
Just FYI, a lot of products use that ingredient.. not just Sunsilk. Someone that supports a vegan lifestyle probably told you that.

I have problems with frizziness too. This is my hair regimen to get rid of it! (If you look at my avatar鈥?you鈥檒l see that it really does work!!). Good luck! =)
1. Choose a shampoo or conditioner by looking for the words smoothing, moisturizing or hydrating on the front of the bottle (I use Pantene Pro-V for dry and damaged hair).
2. After washing, towel dry and apply a smoothing or frizz serum (I like John Frieda鈥檚 Frizz Ease鈥ound at most drug stores).
3. Let hair hang dry until it is almost fully dry. When almost dry, finish drying with a blow dryer while using a round boar-bristle brush (work with small areas at a time 鈥?do not let your hair blow all over the place, otherwise it will just become more unruly).
4. Make sure your hair is completely dry. If there is anymore moisture left it will become frizzy.
5. By using a 1-1/2 inch (or larger) curling iron or a flat iron, you can smooth out any left over frizz.
6. You can also apply a hair wax (like Bumble and Bumble Styling Wax) or pomade (like Got2B Defiant Define Plus Shine Pomade) now.
7. Finish off by using a flexible hair spray (like Finesse鈥檚 Touchable hair spray).

try some different products. one of my favorites is BedHead's after party smoothing cream. it is in a hot pink bottle with a round lid. you can go to any hair salon and find it, it will probably run you from 8-12 dollars. also, if you are using a flat iron, use one that is ceramic and says somewhere on the packaging that it prevents frizz. and try to use the lowest heat setting possible.
I know this sounds weird but, it's for real and rates 100%. Also brings shine to your hair.

I use Matrix smoothing line styling creme!! I also use Garnier Fructis Sleek n Shine shampoo n conditioner!!!
I use oleo relax by Kerastase-they have shampoo,conditioner,serum etc.Quite pricey but well worth it!

the things that really worked for me was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed or/and Provilluss (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)

Hair fall is normal, around a hundred or so strands fall.. if more than that, then that could be a problem.. maybe you need to go to a dermatologist and have it checked.:)

U have not stated your problem but the fact u think u have a problem my answer is this, stay away from store bought shampoos and find an organic supplier. the internet has many online suppliers and health food stores in youre area should have organic shampoos and conditioners. Organic means that the ingredients and process of making the product have not been in contact with un natural chemicals

U have not stated your problem but the fact u think u have a problem my answer is this, stay away from store bought shampoos and find an organic supplier. the internet has many online suppliers and health food stores in youre area should have organic shampoos and conditioners. Organic means that the ingredients and process of making the product have not been in contact with un natural chemicals
or pesticides. therefor the products are gentle and safer to use. I am using sunsilk shampoo, pink, tell me if it is ok or advice me corrrect shampoo for my problems
I also use pink sunsilk shampoo.It helped a lot.But now I'm going to change it.I'll see If I get a good mild shampoo otherwise I'll continue using the same.I don't have any problem with this shampoo but it's just that I want a change.

Mane 'N' Tail made my hair sort of dry and tangled. There is no shampoo that will increase the growth rate of your hair.

SunSilk, yes. They have many different kinds though. I've used every kind except the Volumizing one. They work very well. If you use the SunSilk TLC though, and your hair gets oily easily, it will make it worse, but if you have dry-ish hair, it will work really good. The curling and the Straightening one work well for just being a shampoo and Conditioner.

I've run completely out of dog shampoo, and my Dad is making me give her a bath tonight. My Dad will not take me out just to get some shampoo for my dog, so is it okay if I use Sunsilk Hydra TLC on her?

You can use people shampoo on dogs. I use V05 on mine and then put a coat of conditioner, it makes him smell like whatever smell i pick for about a week. He's 11 and has never had any problem with it. I use baby shampoo around his face if i need to wash that area. Dog shampoo is a joke in my opinion. Soap is soap. I use whatever I have laying around to wash my dogs and they've never had a problem.
I've owned dogs for over 10 years and never once had an issue with using people shampoo and conditioner.
never use normal shampoo on a dog it can give them a really bad rash
NO, human shampoo is way too harsh. It is designed to strip excess oils out of our hair. Dogs need that oil in theirs.

Is sunsilk thick n long shampoo really effective?
i wanna have thick n long hairs till tips.please suggest some good shampoos n conditioners 4 thick hairs.Is sunsilk thick n long shampoo really effective?
All shampoo's are more or less same. They cannot make hair thick and long. You can use any one for cleaning your hair. But don't expect more than that. I use shampoo only once a month but my hair are in a good condition. Thickness and length of hair is decided by genetics. I have not used soap for bathing from last 9 years and I do not have any problem with my skin. I use soap only for washing my hands and I clean my body with plain water.Is sunsilk thick n long shampoo really effective?

if ur want really natural and thick hair...dont go for shamppoo...
i will suggest u natural....tak hibicus plant with flower(chambarathy) ...put in mixer and apply in ur hair its lik shampoo....
after do oil massage....the oil should be made of tulsi,littlepepper...boil it
keep it cool and apply in ur head...
witin 3months ur hair start growing....and it will be thick
I sware by Tresseme shampoo and conditioner. It's very effective for thick hair, especially making it tangle free. And it doesn't cost the earth like most good brands.
